पुस्तकालय में आयोजित कई ऐसे कार्यक्रमों के द्वारा लोग अपने समुदाय के लोगों से मिल सकते है। हाल ही में पुस्तकालयों में ऐसी कई सुविधाएं की गयी है जिस से अक्षम लोगों को पढ़ने आसानी होगी। इस से वे ख़ुशी से पढ़ सकते है और अपनी जानकारी बढ़ा सकते हैं। पुस्तकालय बहुत प्रमुख भूमिका निभाती है लोगों को समुदाय में उपलब्ध संसाधनों के बारे में जानने के लिए।

Libraries are important point of contact where people from same community or backgrounds can meet through various workshops and programs conducted there. निसा आलम जी १५ सालो से पुस्तकालय में काम कर रही हैं और लाइब्रेरियन के हिसाब से २०१७ से ख़ास कर के ग्राहक सेवा विभाग में सेवा कर रही हैं। "Parra Pods" नमक लाइब्रेरी के पॉडकास्ट चैनल की निरूपण भी कर रही हैं। संस्कृतिक विभिन्नता के पॉडकास्ट चैनल "Parra CALD " में हिंदी और उर्दू में लाइब्रेरी में मिलने वाले किताब और अनेक सुविधाओं के बारे में बताया जायेगा।
Nisa Alam has worked in libraries for almost 15 years. She has been a librarian at City of Parramatta Libraries since 2017, mainly working in the customer services team. She is the host of the library’s podcast channel Parra Pods where staff discuss books, libraries and everything in between. She has recently also started recording Hindi/Urdu podcasts for the library’s multicultural podcast channel: Parra CALD.
